what are the alternatives to the police/calling the police? First We Start To Ask questions.
- What Alternatives Would we like to create?
- Is the police Doing their job as a police to protect you?
- What resources do we have to start?
As we already know there had been young black teens being killed by white cops. Also there had been dangerous activities occurring in their neighborhood. Their were probably complaints from citizens of Any neighborhood saying how the policed aren't there when you need them. At the end of it all I think the people just want the killing. robberies, rape, and abuse to stop in there neighborhood, and they go to the police to fix it, sadly the police just isn't enough help. What I have experienced from other websites is that "The police do more harm then good". (Mike Ludwig, 12/26) http://www.truth-out.org/opinion/item/28215-a-new-year-resolution-don-t-call-the-police
So my thing is, do you want to handle things yourself in the right way, or continue to wait on the police who in your case just isn't enough help. Think about what could be done about the situation to make the police come faster or stop the harming they are doing. Black youths are being looked at as A threat, gang banger, drug dealers, killers, etc. Sadly its true, but deep down we are more then that.
The problem of it all is that, are the police with us or against us? Lets not base this upon racial thinking, because there are some blacks that hate there on kind. we disrespect ourselves that's the reason why whites think its OK. But on second thought that not a good enough reason for them to treat us like that, and its not a good enough reason to treat ourselves like that.
First, we need to come together as one to figure out what we need to improve to get the police attention. There are cops out here that's working with the bad. they get away with all the murder they do, some murders don't even have a reason to them. We need to show up and show out, meaning we need to let our voices be known. let them know how it makes us feel and look, although it might not matter to them cause we been doing it for a while now. But this time we fight back.
Now to answer the questions - "what alternatives would we like to create?", to answer that we can start a club, that's about us the people writing the government/mayor saying how we feel about the police in our neighborhood, what they're not doing right.
next question - "is the police doing their job as a police to protect you?", the answer to that question is we gather the murder cases that wasn't solved for black youth and the ones that were solved, and we do the same for the white youth. Also, As we know the police take time to come to a black homicide, or home invasions. That show's the data of black youths getting the help they need from white cops.
last question - "What resources do we have to start?"- we have all sorts of resources, from the killings Of Mike Brown, Eric Garner, John Crawford, Etc. None of those black men were served with justice, police just walks free without serving some type of punishment.
